Market research and Content provider

Dieu Kim Consulting was hired by a Singaporean business intelligence firm which provides industry news and knowledge, market research and consultation, advertising and branding solutions, and trade platforms to enterprises and investors in the agribusiness industry. The client is an established agricultural knowledge provider in Asia – Pacific region. During the course of a 1-year contract, DKC conducted research and consistently provided weekly reports (500 – 700 words) and monthly articles (1,500 – 1,800 words) on aquaculture, livestock and animal feed sectors of Vietnam. These writings were published in various publications and communication channels of the client.

Market research

Dieu Kim Consulting delivered a research project for a UK company which engages in trading starches and derivatives of different biological origin. The report’s objective was to give the client a picture of the production, imports – exports and applications of tapioca and potato starch in Vietnam. Besides secondary research, we undertook more than 20 interviews with relevant government bodies and business associations, and companies in the sectors of food, textile, adhesive, paper and construction so that we not only provided an in-depth analysis of the market, but also identified key local producers and exporters, importers and distributors as well as major end users of tapioca and potato starch in the country. The client was pleased with the report that was comprehensive and aligned with the scope of work defined for the project, and with the analysis that helped them understand causes and trends behind the data so that they can formulate realistic strategies for a future focus on this market.

Distributor search

Dieu Kim Consulting undertook a distributor search in Vietnam for a North American kitchen appliances manufacturer. Using a set of criteria gained from our discussions with the client, we conducted a research to compile a list of 21 potential partners. After the client selected 15 best-fit prospects from the list, we reached out to these companies for pre-qualification and successfully identified 9 that expressed interest in partnering with the client. We then helped organize B2B meetings for the client and these companies in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh city.

Business matching

Dieu Kim Consulting assisted a European company who designs and manufactures professional audio equipment. The client was looking to explore both potential distributors and end users of its products in Vietnam. Our team undertook research to identify suitable local partners, pre-qualified their interest, and organized business meetings for our client. They met with 8 firms in total, including end consumers like event planners, music studios and installation companies who were very interested in the client’s technology and products. We also supported the client with the translation of their technical documents and with interpretation to facilitate these meetings.

List building

An East Asian real estate group, with offices across countries in Asia, commissioned Dieu Kim Consulting to identify and build up a list of tenants in grade A and grade B office buildings in Ho Chi Minh city. For each company, details such as their website, nationality, sector, brief profile and floor of their office in the building were provided. The report was asked to be delivered on a very tight deadline, and we managed to send it to the client 2 days before schedule without trading-off its quality.

Business Travel

Dieu Kim Consulting have been supporting our client, a China-based subsidiary of a German industrial adhesive manufacturer, with their transportation needs in Vietnam for over 2.5 years. The client has trusted us with trips for their management as well as experts to visit their vendors’ manufacturing facilities in industrial parks in Dong Nai province and to meetings with their various partners across Southern Vietnam. The reason why they have chosen our Business Travel service is simple to understand: a familiar and friendly face to greet them at the airport; no time wasted to find a taxi, to wait in a queue, or to bargain price; a new and comfortable car; an experienced driver who knows how to navigate through the crazy traffic of Vietnam, who is also well-trained, English-speaking and knows very well in advance the client’s meeting schedule, venues and their preferences.
